Camplix is a service and research project by MJ Marketing (mjmads.com).

2. Data We Collect

When you visit our website or use our forms, we collect the following data:

a) Automatically Collected Data (Server Logs)

• Referrer URL

b) Waitlist / Contact Form

When you sign up for our waitlist, we collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• Camping preferences (optional)
• Preferred region (optional)

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (your consent). You may withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email to mj@mijo-marketing.de.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

We process your data exclusively for the following purposes:

• Notification about the launch of the Camplix platform
• Personalization of campsite suggestions based on your preferences
• Ensuring the technical functionality of the website
• Anonymous analysis of user behavior to improve our offerings

4. Web Analytics with Rybbit

We use Rybbit, a privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics platform. Our Rybbit instance is self-hosted on a server within the European Union.

Rybbit does not set any cookies and does not store any personal data or IP addresses. Only anonymized access data is collected (page visited, browser type, operating system, country). Identification of individual visitors is not possible.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in evaluating website usage).

A cookie consent banner is not required for Rybbit as no cookies or personal data are processed.

5. Hosting

Our website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (44 Montgomery Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA). When you access our site, connection data is automatically transmitted to Netlify's servers.

Netlify is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information can be found in Netlify's privacy policy.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in reliable provision of our website).

6. Form Data & Netlify Forms

Data entered through our forms is processed via Netlify Forms and stored on Netlify's servers. Netlify is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent given by submitting the form after checkbox confirmation).

7. No Additional Third Parties

Apart from Netlify (hosting & forms) and Rybbit (analytics), we do not use any other external services, tracking tools, social media plugins, or advertising platforms on this website. No data is transmitted to any other third parties.

8. Data Retention

Your form data is stored until you withdraw your consent or the purpose of processing ceases to apply. Server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.
