We check with the host, sort out the pitch and your arrival, and write back to you. You pay on site.

Honest and fee-free.

Camplix costs you nothing and we take no commission: the host gets the full price. The other places on the map come from OpenStreetMap. We don't vet those, so you contact the operator directly.

What is Camplix?
Camplix connects you with small hosts in Bosnia and Herzegovina: farms, cabins, places by a lake or in the woods. You ask us in English and we sort everything out with the host. On top of that, we show every campsite and pitch from OpenStreetMap on one map.
Can I book through Camplix?
Not like on a booking portal. With our hosts, you send your request through us. We check availability and arrival and get back to you with the answer. You pay the host directly on site. For places from OpenStreetMap, we show you the operator's contact.
Are the places on Camplix vetted?
We know our hosts personally. Where we have been on site ourselves, it says “Personally verified”. We don't vet the places from OpenStreetMap, they are meant as orientation.
Where does the data come from?
From OpenStreetMap, a free, community-maintained database (ODbL licence). We filter for campsites and pitches in Bosnia & Herzegovina and update regularly. Details may be incomplete or outdated.
I run one of these places. How do I claim the listing?
On the detail page of your place you will find “Claim listing”. Drop us a line; we verify and you can add photos, a description and contact details. Your place then appears with priority.
Does it cost me anything?
No. Camplix is free for guests, and hosts currently pay nothing either.
Which countries are covered?
Currently Bosnia & Herzegovina. More countries will follow once we can genuinely serve them.
