What is Camplix?
Camplix is a directory of campsites and pitches in Bosnia & Herzegovina. The entries come from open data (OpenStreetMap) and are gradually complemented by personally verified hosts.
Can I book through Camplix?
Not at the moment. Where contact details are on file, we point you directly to the operator or their website. Booking and payment happen there. Mediation via Camplix exists only for verified hosts we work with directly.
Are the places on Camplix vetted?
The directory entries are not vetted. They come from OpenStreetMap and are meant as orientation. Verified hosts are marked separately; they appear with photos and additional info at the top.
Where does the data come from?
From OpenStreetMap, a free, community-maintained database (ODbL licence). We filter for campsites and pitches in Bosnia & Herzegovina and update regularly. Details may be incomplete or outdated.
I run one of these places. How do I claim the listing?
On the detail page of your place you will find “Claim listing”. Drop us a line; we verify and you can add photos, a description and contact details. Your place then appears with priority.
Does it cost me anything?
No. The directory is free. There is currently no fee for hosts either.
Which countries are covered?
Currently Bosnia & Herzegovina. More countries will follow once we can genuinely serve them.
