Who we are
Camplix (camplix.de) is a service and research project by Mijo Jurisic, MJ Marketing, Olszańska 7, 31-513 Kraków, Poland. Contact: mj@mijo-marketing.de.
What we collect through forms
If you send a spot enquiry, we process your name, email, travel dates, number of people and your message. If you register as a host or claim a listing, we process your name, phone number, email, the details you provide about your site (location, capacity, prices, amenities, rules, description) and any uploaded files or links. Session metadata (UTM parameters, landing page, referrer) may be attached. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and initiation of a contract or cooperation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by email.
Where form data goes
Forms are processed and stored by Netlify, Inc. (USA, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). We use your data only to handle your enquiry or set up your listing. For guest enquiries we pass travel details to the respective host; payment never runs through Camplix.
Third-party services
Hosting and forms: Netlify (USA). Interactive maps: Mapbox Inc. (USA). Your IP address is transmitted when a map loads or when the place search resolves a place name (geocoding). Icons: Iconify CDN. Placeholder images: Unsplash CDN. Consent management: Usercentrics (EU). Analytics: Rybbit (cookieless, EU-hosted). Marketing tags load only after you opt in via the consent banner. Fonts are self-hosted, no connection to Google Fonts.
Local storage in your browser
While you fill in the host forms, your entries are saved locally in your browser (localStorage) so they survive an accidental reload. They never leave your device and are deleted after successful submission. UTM parameters are kept in sessionStorage for the session.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict your data, to data portability, to object, and to withdraw consent at any time (GDPR Art. 15–21, Art. 7(3)). You may lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. Contact: mj@mijo-marketing.de.
