Tribistovo itself is a small nature spot for people looking for peace and nature. At the moment it is intended for tents and individual vehicles by arrangement. Caravans and trailers are currently not possible, because the approach over gravel roads can be demanding with a trailer. The place is under development and keeps evolving. That is exactly why it can be a quiet base to arrive and experience the region without hurry.

Water, rocks and caves around Tribistovo
Around Lake Tribistovo and the Ružički potok, water and rock shape the landscape. Along the shores, between rocks and in the quiet transitions of the surroundings, these elements lie close together. At the Ružički potok, quiet water, rocks and the still surroundings come together into a landscape of its own.

Šimića pećina in Vučipolje also belongs to this side of Tribistovo. The cave complements the open views at the lake with rocks, cave spaces and the traces of water in the stone. At Šimića pećina, rocks and cave space make the light feel different and give the landscape a calmer side.

By bike over Vučipolje
If you want to experience the region on two wheels, the L402 over Vučipolje, Lake Tribistovo and Brina is a regional option. It connects Tribistovo through the landscape around Posušje and over Vučipolje, so that open views, water and places of the region link up with each other.
A signpost makes you want to explore the region by bike as well.
Whether you ride just a stretch or take more time is up to you. This way you can extend your radius from Tribistovo in your own way.

For a further regional trip you can keep the Žukovica waterfall near Vir in mind. It opens up a different view of the landscape.
