Štrbački buk (Una National Park)
Cascades of the Una river in Una National Park, up to 24 metres high. Entry fee, wooden walkways, a rafting destination in summer.
These are places at higher altitude, and places with mountain views where you can also go hiking. Kamp Ergela is in Fojnica at the foot of the Vranica, and Izletište Kugla in the village of Ponikve in the Zvijezda range. On the Zelengora there is a hut looking out at Bregoč, the highest peak of the range. Near Teslić rises Mount Borja, and around Draševo near Prozor the views stretch across the mountains.
Things are simpler up in the mountains. The hut on the Zelengora has no electricity and is heated with a wood stove. Some places are reached over a gravel track for the last stretch, for example at Tribistovo and on the Zelengora. Caravans and trailers will not fit everywhere, so ask in your request whether your vehicle can get through.
